Request: UI examples for making people work together?

Here is an interesting UI issue I’ve encountered developing a prototype: what is a good and easy way to make AI characters perform things together. I’ve crowd-sourced this question on Twitter to look for examples in other games and realized that the question requires some explanation. So let me clarify:
There are numerous games where you control [...]

Ender’s Game – A Manual

For some time now, a lot of people suggested I should read Ender’s Game. The book was a sort of a puzzle to me. It seems to have influenced a lot of people I know from the Anglo-American culture. Most of them seem to have read it in their youth. Yet I never had contact [...]

Lunar Flight – A Benchmark for Oculus Rift

Partly inspired by my previous experience woth the Oculus Rift, I decided to get the Development Kit to do more experiments with the system. I am still very excited about the hardware. I think it’s safe to say that this might be the singe most important gaming peripheral since the Wiimote. Before developing anything I [...]

localnonaccess

The project is about the realization of a media plastic, a network-based permanent installation in
public space. A media plastic is a sculpture made out of pure information, its dimensions in space
are defined by bits, bytes, longitude and latitude and the possibility of getting access to it. Accept the
medium we call reality there is no specific physical layer involved.

Selected artists with high affinity to the net and the new media are going to be invited to create a
web-based work, which has the thematic focus of „access“ and its dependence on spatial reference
systems. The individual contributions will be presented on separate webpages with content of their
choice which are accessible via a single URL. Due to a simple location check however the website is
only available on a specific position, which is the address of km temporaer in Berlin. When requesting
the website from different locations, the works will not be visible and the visitor gets the address of
km temporaer via Google-Maps. Therefor the webpage will be primarily accessed by smartphones and
other mobile devices by users which are on site.
For the vernissage the premises of km temporaer will remain empty and several hashtags #nonaccess
will be printed on the walls. The twitter-stream for the #Hashtags on the evening of the opening will
be printed as a small booklet in a limited edition. After the end of the project „local.#non.access“, a
plaque with the URL of the medial plastic will be installed on the facade.

TRAUMA LEGO Panobot

During the development of TRAUMA I build a robotic photo tripod out of LEGO. I ended up not using it for production but I always wanted to document it before disassembling it. It ended up lying around for years. Recently I finally did it. Here is the result:
